Srushti Deshmukh is beginning preparations for the UPSC entrance in her third year of engineering degree. After her graduation she wondered if she could be happy with her engineering job. In the following years, she realized that the dream of her was to work in civil service and decided to pursue the field. Her parents encouraged her to be civil servants and seek a job in the public service. She was motivated and focused only on becoming an IAS officer. In order for UPSC to be achieved, more hard work is necessary. She used to study her engineering courses and prepare for UPSC as well as other subjects. Everyday, she set aside some time to prepare for the exam. She studied for the engineering examinations in only one-and-ahalf months, avoiding social life. She firmly believes the focus is crucial to pass the government examination and be an officer in the civil service. She was determined to pass the exam in the first try and put in a lot of hard work. Her daily routine included reading newspapers to keep current with all the latest information. In addition, she had plenty of help online, by accumulating studies materials and watching Rajya Sabha TV. IAS Srushti Deskmukh Book IAS Srushti Deskmukh wrote and published a book called The Answer Writing Guide. Each library across America has it. It is an excellent book for IAS applicants who work hard for the test. Her husband is also known to regularly share information on them and their responsibilities on their social media pages.
